Commercial Planning and Research Institute

As a holder of Class-A Certifcate of Engineering Design Integrated Qualifcation and national high-tech enterprise accreditation, Wanda Commercial Planning and Research Institute (WCPRI) is the only institution in China that specializes in the planning and design of large commercial centers.

WCPRI has not only established standards for architectural design and technologies for large commercial properties, it has also contributed to the making of national industry standards under invitation by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, the Ministry of Commerce and the Ministry of Emergency Management.

WCPRI was invited, as the only member from the private sector, to join the construction of BIM Platform for Innovation-Driven Development of Industrial Internet, a major national R&D project organized by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and led by the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology.

The innovative design of the 4th-generation Wanda Plaza by WCPRI is a new benchmark for brick-and-mortar businesses in China.
