The Danzhai Wanda Village, with an investment of 1.5 billion yuan, opened in July 2017. The Village boasts an outdoor pedestrian street, hot spring resort hotels, conference centers, the Jinxiu theater, water recreational activities and other facilities. The Village offers a wide range of local intangible cultural heritage experiences as well as products made by local ethnic artisans. By 2020, the village has received more than 21 million visits, making it a top 3 tourist destination in Guizhou. The project has helped Danzhai alleviate poverty and revitalize its rural economy.

Guizhou Wanda Vocational and Technical College, with an investment of 300 million yuan by Wanda Group, has a gross floor area of 50,000 square meters and can accommodate 2,000 students; the facilities of the college are at a first-class vocational college level,and the major settings of the college are specially designed for the needs of Danzhai. Based on merits, Wanda will recruit 50% of the graduates to work at Wanda every year.
